Dennis is a turnaround management specialist
with over 30 years of experience in interim management, business
workouts and restructuring. He is a change agent for businesses in
transition, e.g. startup, corporate renewal, bankruptcy, rapid growth,
product introduction, IPO, acquisition, joint venture, divestiture, and
facility startup or relocation.
He has worked with over 150 businesses, on
behalf of owners, investors and lenders. Prior to consulting, his
corporate executive positions were in finance, analysis, planning,
marketing and operations for service, consumer products and industrial
manufacturing companies.
In numerous
turnarounds, workouts, bankruptcies and liquidations, he dealt
effectively with management, unsecured creditors, secured lenders,
attorneys and investors. He has been an interim
Chief Executive
Officer,
Chief Financial
Officer and Chief Restructuring Officer.
In 1991, Dennis founded KMG as a financial and
management advisory firm addressing the problems of business
turnarounds, startups, transitions and performance improvement.
Dennis received his BA degree and his MBA degree
in finance from Loyola University, Chicago, with additional graduate
work in accounting and taxation at DePaul University, Chicago. He is a
Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) and a Certified Public
Accountant (CPA). He has instructed CPA review courses, and lectured on
topics of strategic planning, and business crisis and
turnaround management.
